Rock the Block at NewBo City Market!

Rock the Block is NewBo City Market's free weekly concert series. Each summer a variety of local bands take the Bankers Trust Stage in the Market Yard and fill Friday nights with live music!

 

Unreserved space will be free and open to the public on a first-come first -served basis.

Who's playing?

 

On May 28th, the Market will host the first Rock the Block concert of the season, which will continue through September 24th. The Full Circle Band will be the first band to grace the Bankers Trust Stage at Rock the Block 2021, and the rest of the summer lineup includes:

  • June 11th - Casting Call

  • June 18th - Bernemann Bros

  • June 25th - Deja Blue

  • July 2nd - Kevin Burt with Big Medicine

  • July 9th - Betty Calling

  • July 23rd - The Belle Rangers

  • July 30th - Soul Sherpa

  • August 6th - Surf Zombies

  • August 13th - Birdchild

  • August 27th - Fresh Fighters

  • September 3rd - Bamboozlers

  • September 17th - Cedar Junction

CSPS Hall, our NewBo neighbors, are presenting four concerts this summer on June 4th, July 16th, August 20th, and September 10th. The artists for these dates will be announced on May 7th. Follow CSPS and NewBo City Market on Facebook for more information.

Event Rules:

  • NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES, with the exception of reusable water bottles filled with water only. Please support our small businesses and get your snacks from the Shopkeepers inside the Market.

  • NO COOLERS

  • No smoking

  • No sitting in between social-distancing squares in the South Market Yard (stage side). Guests must find a square to occupy in this area. If no squares are available, the North Market Yard has open space.

 

When you enter NewBo City Market property, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment of royalties in connection with any use.
