Face coverings required at NewBo City Market

Last week, NewBo City Market made the decision require our guests, staff and Shopkeepers wear face coverings inside the Market.

We believe this was an important decision to make in order to maintain the Market as a safe space for all who walk through our doors.

All Market staff will continue to use face coverings and Shopkeepers have been asked to do so as well. Our previously established covid guidelines will remain in effect.

NewBo Beer and Wine has been closed for on-premise sales until September 20, This decision was made following the new covid proclamation put forth by the Governor last Thursday. However, the bar remains open for to-go can sales and growler fill-ups from all your favorite Cedar Rapids breweries.

The Market's doors are still open Mondays through Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Roasters opens at 8 a.m. every day and the rest of the Shopkeepers open at 10 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. We have air conditioning, power outlets, internet and ATM available.

We hope our community will continue to support our Shopkeepers as they are hit with yet another blow to business.

As a nonprofit business incubator and community space, we will continue to adapt in order to remain a safe space for all our community members and local small businesses. We thank you for your continued support Cedar Rapids, even through the toughest of times. We are so proud to be a part of this community.
