Steven’s secret is simple—quality, heritage pork.

 

Small Business Saturday in 2014 introduced him to NewBo City Market. After some planning, he decided to leave his job at Transamerica to become a full-time sausage maker.

 

Steven’s favorite thing he sells is Hickory smoked Berkshire bacon—”because pork belly rules.” Steven’s named his place the Sausage Foundry because “The Sausage Foundry is a production facility, so I wanted something industrial-sounding.”
