Rock the Block at NewBo City Market!
Rock the Block is NewBo City Market's free weekly concert series. Each summer, a variety of local and national touring bands take the Bankers Trust Stage in the Market Yard and fill Friday nights with live music!
Rock the Block takes place every Friday throughout the summer from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and find a space to sit and enjoy the concert!

Who's playing?
Rock the Block 2024 is presented by Collins Aerospace, with support from Lion Bridge Brewing Company, Fun Not Fancy, CRST, PuroClean of Cedar Rapids, Climbing Kites, Fast-Trans, Dog Star, and Coldwell Banker Hedges Realty.

Event Rules:
1. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES, with the exception of reusable water bottles filled with water only. Please support our small businesses and get your snacks from the Shopkeepers inside the Market.
2. NO COOLERS.
3. No smoking.
4. Alcohol purchased on Market property must be consumed within the designated barriers.
