Welcome Prairie Soup Company; our newest Shopkeeper

Tyler Hegewald bought Prairie Soup Company in March of 2021. By July, he opened the restaurant's second location inside NewBo City Market.

"I always wanted to own a business," Tyler said. "And I always thought NewBo City Market would be a good place for it. I figured that Prairie Soup could use a second location."

Prairie Soup Company's menu features fresh-made soups and sandwiches. Its first location, 425 Second St. SE, is only open on week days, which is why the Market's Thursday through Sunday schedule was the perfect addition to Tyler's business.

As a NewBo City Market Shopkeeper, Tyler and his business will connect with thousands of customers each and every week.
